IMPORTANT MESSAGES FOR STUDENTS:
- STUDENT EMAIL: Having problems logging in to your student email? It is most likely an incorrect username and password format. Be sure you follow the directions closely concerning the new format.
- Having problems receiving email from your course forums? You may need to change your profile settings.
- To login to the Moodle server students will need to use your user ID provided by KnightLife. Your password is your six-digit birthdate.
- Protecting your personal information online is important. Protect your user accounts (Social Security Number, Student ID/Colleague ID, and Passwords) by not sending the information electronically. We will never ask you to send us this confidential information and it should not be shared via email.
Surry uses Moodle 2.4 as our learning management system to deliver online course content. Moodle stands for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment. For MOODLE or student email technical support contact the Technology Services Helpdesk at 336.386.3434 or email@example.com. If you have questions concerning your online course students should contact their instructor.
MOODLE LOGIN INFORMATION: Students will need to login using your Surry user account. You can verify your username and password using KnightLife. Once you are in KnigftLife at the botton right corner you will see "Account Information". Verify your user ID. Your initial password for using KnightLife, Moodle and SCC student email is your 6-digit birth date.
Once you login to Moodle you will see Surry Online at the top of the page. Click the Navigation option to see the "My Courses" option and to access your online class.
